What is CARD eLearning?
CARD eLearning is 40-hour online training course designed to facilitate effective intervention for children with autism by equipping users with foundational knowledge in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), autism and research- proven intervention techniques CARD eLearning contains of a set of instructional videos designed to train and prepare you to begin intervention with children with autism and for using Skills™. The course consists of several self-guided lectures on topics such as: What is Autism?, What is ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis)?, Skill Repertoire Building (how to teach skills to children with autism), and Behavior Management (how to manage challenging behavior). CARD eLearning is a great companion to the Skills™ program, providing essential information about ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) in the treatment of autism.

- Includes real-life video footage of therapists using techniques with children.
- Allows students to train in the comfort of their own classrooms or homes.
- Students complete the course at their own pace, pausing and taking notes whenever they want, as well as watching modules as many times as they want.

- Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate of completion.

Who developed eLearning?
CARD eLearning grew out of over 40 years of research on ABA as an effective treatment for autism and over 20 years of experience of training people to effectively work with children with autism. It was developed by the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) and is equivalent to the didactic portion of CARD's initial therapist training.

What will eLearning train me to do?
CARD eLearning works as an essential companion to the Skills™ program by providing foundational training in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) and the use of ABA-based techniques with children with autism. The course contains of a set of instructional videos designed to train and prepare users to begin using Skills™ with their child, covering topics such as, What is Autism?, What is ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis)?, Skill Repertoire Building (i.e., how to teach skills to children with autism), and Behavior Management (i.e., how to manage challenging behavior). You will acquire the foundational knowledge you need to begin teaching skills to children with autism. However, you will not learn how to design or direct a treatment plan for a child. How long does it take to complete eLearning?
CARD eLearning is similar to a three-credit college course. It should take somewhere between 25-45 hours to complete, depending on personal knowledge and background (Applied Behavior Analysis [ABA] and computer knowledge).
